Which vent cover??

Which vent covers will fit over the fantasic fans vents? I know the regular MaxAir cover will not. I found some that specifically said they would but they were about 100.00 a piece.

I saw those, but they got some pretty bad reveiws. So didn't know whether they worked or not.

Didn't know if the MaxAirII would allof for full fan operation or not. I know the regular MaxAir won't.

Well, now after finding and reading reviews on CW it appears they are ok.

I don't know anything about the Fantastic covers either. I do know that Fantastic Vent has excellent customer service if for some reason you're not satisfied with their product.

There's been a couple of bad reviews on the Ultra Breeze on Amazon, but if you go to camping worlds site Fan-tastic Ultrabreeze Vent Covers - Product - Camping World

Pretty much all of the reviews are positive with the only real negative review coming from one of the people on Amazon

We bought 3 of them of the smoke ones for our new coach that is on order. From what I can see of the vent covers they should work great, looks super easy to install, and really easy to take off for cleaning.

So I so far will give them a

We got the MaxAirII's http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...nt-covers/7047 and they will work,
just the upward limit of the powered hatch is stopped before full extension....

ok for us, but may not be for you....

We bought a pair of MaxAir Fan/Mate rain covers in white. Fan/Mate Rain Cover for High-Powered Ceiling Fans - Product - Camping World

They work fine with the Fan-Tastic fan/vents. While others might like the black, I like the fact that they let some light in.

I installed a pair of these on our two Fantastic Fans last year and had the same experience. It doesn't seem to make that much of a difference. They work great and we are now able to ventilate the coach on rainy days and we are able to open the vents during windy days without fear of the wind ripping the Fantastic Fan covers off.

I ordered ours from RV Upgrade Store - MaxxAir II Smoke Vent Cover, they are a sponsor of this forum and their price point is a little better than CW.

I have the maxairIIs for my rig, and they told me they would fit but I haven't got my lazy rear up there yet to install.

I went ahead and ordered the MaxAirII's as I didn't figure I would be opening the vents 100% anyway.

For what it's worth,
I looked at a few reviews on these things and watched a video where they were testing different covers for flow.
The Fantastic Covers were well ahead of most of them in this respect.

OK, if the Fantactic Rep is looking in, you can send me a PM and I will advise you where to deposit my cheque.

MaxxAir Roof Vent Covers - Product - Camping World

I've got three of these on my roof. Painted them with plastic paint that matches my silver base color of my coach.
They have worked great for six years.

OOh OOh, I just installed two of these from Fantastic Vent.

I tossed the ones that supposedly would allow full air flow but did not come close. The new ones in black look better and like all fantastic products they work as advertised. The installation is a Breeze

Now they need to design a quick release system for the fan blades so I can take them out for a bath. Send check to YC1 please.

Not cheap but made of plastic that just feels like it is bullet proof. It is hard to describe but our Dyson Vacuums are made from the same kind of stuff. It does not feel like a hard brittle plastic. In any case, Fantastic has had the best customer support of any vendor we ever hear from and supporting them is in our own best interest.
