My 32 ft country coach with 2 slides is plenty roomy it is 12ft 1” tall and 33ft long.the 350hp isc 8.3 liter is enough power and the 6 speed Alison as well. It handles just fine on the road with a tow vehicle.

These 32 footers are hard to come by and demand a good price.

I do know that a few were built with the 370/400 ISL motor so you can't say that thing is under powered

Hey Don
Not to change the subject do you have any idea how many 2002 opposing slide 32 footers were made? Since all records were destroyed I was just wondering your coach is also a 2002 I thought you might have a little insight.

I will say that there was ONE older Country Coach model that was 32' and was not underpowered and handled well, but that was really the only one.
Yup looked at a 32' CC, single slide with our neighbor...Nice coach but.. everything was crammed together,
But it did have nearly everything the larger coaches had.(Air ride and leveling/.except storage..both basement and interior was very limited.
The bad was that it did want to buck and porpoise....
They ended up going with a 36' CC. then to a 42' tag FT to full time with.

If I was looking for a 32' DP I would look at the Country Coach, I think it was a one year only build in 2002 with 3 slides, tag axle & 450 hp, they are very rare and sell almost a soon as they hit the market.

The older country coach always seems to get great reviews as well as a few others.

The newer tiffin breeze night be your best.... and shortest option due to a 28ft version

Fleetwood has the newer excursion. I think they started in 2012 or so, 33-36ft long and are on the entry level end of the DP spectrum. As stated Fleetwood also had a 34M bounder and excursion, I think 2004-2007 or so.
However as others stated many complain about poor ride characteristics with the shorter DP. From what I gather it’s kinda like going from a 4dr Jeep Wrangler to a 2dr, where the longer wheelbase of the 4dr reduces the bouncing front/back. As with and RV test drive... test drive )

I have no idea how many were built. I don't think the records were destroyed, they are probably buried somewhere in the old factory which is now home to Winabagel. I am in the JC area for a week so I'll talk to some of the old CC hands to see what they say.

To the guy that said the 32ft CC had a tag CC never built a 32 with a tag and they never had 450HP

Aria 3401 is what we have for our second coach. DP with king bed, washer dryer, etc, and a 360 HP Cummings. It's been out for two years now so perhaps some used ones out there by now. Lots of amennities for the price, but the quality is the ususal crap that seems to be the norm nowadays....you just have to put a few years into fixing the issues that come with new and then you may be fine. We are still at that "fixing it" stage.

3401 translates into 34 foot 7 inches long and 12 foot 6 inches high.

We do get into small parks and take backroads all the time being on the smaller side. Also love the ability to "stop" quickly which is something we did not have in the Winnebago Sunova gasser. Stopping is good!
