Will this plan for my new floor work?

I am installing new LVP in my motor home. I want an invisible seam where the slide sits in an open position. With 3/8” underlay in the main floor and direct glue to the slide area, the 2 floors will be perfectly flush. I was then thinking of getting some 1/8” big pieces of puck board to lay on the main floor so the slide can roll in and rest on the puck board. Not the surface of the new floor in the main area

Yes? No? On glue?

He used thin aluminum with anti skid glued to the back to lay in the slide roller path .
