Informative thread, so I'm dredging it up. Last night a front went through, no rain but lots of wind and a 20 degree temperature drop. The coach stayed toasty warm with just the heat pumps, but the wind is 20-30, gusting to 40mph and we are a-rockin. So I searched up this thread.
I pulled in the awning and took care of the outside stuff. Jacks are down and tires on the ground too, so I was wondering about the best way to handle this considering we are still learning everything. Luckily this isn't a storm, but the wind is pretty good. Don't laugh, but I didn't think about pulling in the slides...makes perfect sense now. I think we're ok with them out, but threads like this are hugely informative to us newbies. Thanks!
Oh and I completely disagree with the "old thread" warning. That's a vbulletin feature that isn't necessary. Bringing up older threads can be extremely helpful sometimes, so that feature should be disabled IMO.
