Window Replacement Guide

At some point in time I will need to replace my driver and passenegr stationary windows due to fogging. Last year I ran across a site that literally showed pictures and I believe measurements of many, many different brands and models of RV's. Currently the company I am looking at requires that I remove the framework and take measurements so that they can determine the correct window for my application. I am in no way against doing tat but if I could just open up the online catalog and determine exactly which window I need I'd be more comfortable.

I'm not close enough to any place who will take them apart and clean them up so please no recommendations for that. If you know of this catalog then please just post the link. That is all I am looking for.

Thanks

This is close and similar but the site I had found allowed me to input my year, manufacturer and model number ('09 Fleetwood Bounder 35H) and the windows in that particular request would be shown. In the link you sent I still need to pull the window out and get some numbers off of it. I'd like to pull the window out just once if at all possible.

Can't FogDoctor or fog or other fog repair shops do same. You can find a hundreds posts on fogged window repairs and DIY.

I assume you have gotten price quotes for replacing your windows. I contacted HEHR for quotes to replace my fogged windows. Extremely expensive, would not ship them to a home, only to a business. And then, I would have to install them. If you are looking to get the best bang for your money, drive your unit to Searcy, Arkansas and have the Fog Doctor remove, clean, reseal, and reinstall them. $275 per frame. I just had two replaced. 2 year warranty against leaks and refogging. Way more financially reasonable than replacing with new. Just an opinion from someone who has already done it.

By the way, I drove from Las Vegas Nevada to have the work done.

OK...... I'm in Vermont. Gas is $5.00 a gallon. I'll just guess but Arkansas is easily 1200 miles and the same back to VT. Let's assume 7 mpg. 2400 divided by 7 and multiply by $5. Close to $1800. No thanks !!!

Call that trip a vacation. The Ozarks is full of fun things. Top of the list is Silver Dollar City, MO & Eureka Springs, AR. Us hill Billies have all sorts of fun things to relieve you of some $$.

Hello everybody!
I am new here. I just bought a 2002 Trail-lite class B RV.
It has turned into a nightmare very quickly. I can handle most of the problems but the windows are a totally unique size and shape. The shape of the camper is curved from top to bottom so the windows are bowed in the middle to match the curve. Even if I could find the correct dimensions, I have no idea about how to match the curve of the body as I’ve only seen flat windows for sale. I am afraid that forcing a flat window to follow the curve will jam the slider or more than likely break the glass from the tension. I have looked into rebuilding the windows but each window has three types of glazing and I can only find one which is similar. Does anyone here know of any RV window repair experts?

I'm sure you "hill Billies" really would enjoy some of my $$ but as I speciffically posted in my original post "I'm not close enough to any place who will take them apart and clean them up so please no recommendations for that. If you know of this catalog then please just post the link. That is all I am looking for." I have no interest, absolutely ZERO interest, to spend my valuable vacation time and money when I can get the project done for far less ..... of course I did note that in the beginning anyway. I actually stated what I was looking for, an online catalog. Maybe you just didn't see that.

These "Hillbillies" are just trying to offer helpful suggestions. However, with your attitude, you deserve about as much help as your interest in having your windows repaired. For my interest, you can find your own catalog.
