Windshield motorized shade

Hi all, I have a 2009 Fleetwood Southwind 36A Ford V10. Been parked on full 50amp hookup since 1/20/15. Tonite when I went to lower the front windshield shade( like I do every nite) instead of going all the way down, it went down to the level as if the rig was running( that is about 12"). Wouldn't go any further. Would retract and lower to that level time after time.
Don't know what brand it is. Motorized vinel full windshield shade. Any thoughts? Thanks

Sounds like it needs to be reprogrammed for the set point when lowered.

If it is a MCD shade the instructions are in a PDF file located on their web site.

Not sure about other brands.

Our MCD's did the same thinks, it almost like they get a mind of their own. The instructions in the MCD info that came with the coach were very confusing. I contacted MCD directly and they emailed me a new set of directions that were much easier to follow.

I know you said you've been parked for over a month, but the parking brake didn't get disengaged for some reason?? Ours won't go all the way down unless the parking brake is engaged. Long shot, but thought I'd ask.
