Windshield one-way privacy
Our side windows are tinted so during the daytime, we can see out but nobody can see in. We would love to have that privacy with our windshield as well so that we can enjoy the view and still maintain our privacy. Any suggestions?

State laws prohibit dark tinting a windshield. You will need to contact your state to see what percentage of tint is allowed. It won't be enough to prohibit viewing inside from outside.
You can purchase a MagneShade or day-shade (i.e. MCD or similar) which will do what you are intending.

This is the view out our front windshield with a Magneshade. The moire' pattern is caused by the digital camera not the shade. The other is the view from outside and as you can tell no one can see in. At night the reverse is true, you can see in from the outside if lights are on inside.

I had the same results as Lt Dan on my 36 foot Class A with the added benefit of cooler inside temperatures, when facing the sun.

FWIW, we purchased a 96" X 48" "scrap" of Phifer 80/90 SunTex Stucco colored material off eBay for $20. It's the same material MagnaShade uses.
We simply trimmed it to fit and attach it to the inside of both windshields with suction cups for privacy. It even helps with uv glare, but the magnashades on the outside are more effective at blocking out heat.
Just posting this for anyone not wanting to spend a small fortune on privacy shades.....

Windshield one-way privacy
Magnets are glued to the inside of the glass. Opposing pole magnets are sewn into the Magneshade. Follow the directions that they send to you.

To see it in action, go to youtube and search for "magneshade installation" and you will find a number of videos showing the process.

Magnedhades are one of the best purchases we've made. Expensive but worth every penny in my book, but more importantly, my wife absolutely loves them. Lol

Shades outside are far more effective than inside to stop heat transfer. Nothing against Magna-shade, but I made my own, from Pfifertex Plus, that snap on for a fraction of the cost. You can buy snaps with self adhesive pads if you don't want to drill holes. I cannot use magnashades because the rare earth magnets would affect my pacemaker.

This may be helpful.
https://www.sailrite.com/diy-magnetic-window-screen
The article includes links to videos for both magnets and snaps.
They sell the same material that Teamfoxy used.
Disclaimer: I have NO financial interest in this vendor. But, I am a happy customer.
