We were at a dealer getting work done last week. To kill time I was walking around the lot. An older Beaver had come in for service. The windshield had more black tar all around the perimeter than most flat roofs. It was sticking out several inches. Also had two ratchet straps, one on top and one on bottom. I could see damage from where they attached the hooks. This was a serious windshield issue. If I was the service advisor, I would decline that job.

You need a company that specializes in motor home glass repair, not automotive glass repair.
RV Glass Solutions has several locations and they even attend many of the big RV rallies.
They guarantee their work. They can also repair fogged side windows.

It does not matter who sub-contracted the windshield job or what they say, the company who quoted you the price and had you sign a work order is responsible. I would stay on them to do it right.
