Windshield washer fluid bug cleaner? Wipers?

First, thanks for all the replies on the washing and waxing on the road must haves. It got me thinking....
What about windshield wiper washer fluid for bug removal? What about the wipers themselves?
Let's hear it!
Thanks again

It's been awhile since you posted this question, but here is what I do. RAINX Windshield Washer Fluid @ Walmart for about 2.50/gallon. I use this in all my vehicles. Does a nice job of coating the windshield. Also, if you want to add more protection you can use the McGuires Clean & Wax #50 for fiberglass, actually it is not wax (I use this on the 5er) and do the windows of the RV, Autos, Boat, etc. works great to keep bug splatter from not sticking so much.
