Windshield Washer nozzle adjustment

Hello...I have a 2005 Fleetwood Pace Arrow 37C. My windshield washer nozzles were not hitting the windshield except for the middle one that actually aims right at the windshield. The upper and lower nozzles are pointed straight up or down respectively.

So...I decide to purchase new nozzles. Well...these are worse that the two I took off. My question...Is there a way to aim these? There is only one way to mount these so I know they are on correctly. What am I missing?

The part number of the nozzles is nd-060090-0300. They are made by Denso.

TIA!

P.S. I tried to upload a photo but it blocked me! ??????

Have you tried them at speed?

Maybe they will be OK then.

Happy Glamping.

Hi,
I'm not familiar with your unit, however on all the washer nozzles I have adjusted it is actually a tiny ball with the hole through it. So using a small safety pin it is possible to adjust the direction of flow. Hope this helps

Funny, I was working on my windshield fluid sprayers today also. Only my coach problem is Mr. Sun had dryed out the rubber tubing. Both sides broke while we were on a 4 day trip.

Anyway, as Xmcdog indicated, the nozzles are adjustable. It may take several tries, but you can get them to hit exactly where you want.

No luck so far

So I'm not sure what was meant by at speed from the one response. It sprays straight up or down at 20 mph or 70 mph.

I have tried a needle and the thing just bends. I contacted the manufacturer and they said to use the needle trick. So much for that advise.

I'm at a loss as to what to do here. Hopefully someone else has a clue!

Just yesterday I adjusted mine using a needle, however your RV could have a very different system. One thing I have learned is no two RV's are exactly alike. I'm also confused about your comment "My windshield washer nozzles were not hitting the windshield except for the middle one that actually aims right at the windshield. The upper and lower nozzles are pointed straight up or down respectively.". Do you mean that literally? I can get mine to spray higher and lower, but It sure won't spray straight down or up. Also my coach only has one sprayer on each wiper arm.

You have peaked my curiosity. Can you please post a picture?

Not sure a needle will work. I've always used a safety pin.
Do the nozzles look as though they are a ball and can be moved?

I have just played with mine a couple of weeks ago. A few years ago i thought i could move and adjust the ball (I never got them to work very good) but i think they are locked up now with age. Try cleaning or backwashing the nozzles
Yours should be the same as mine with three holes. What i did do this time was i think the wiper arms got bent before, frozen and iced up and or possibly bent putting on the windshield sun screen.

Using a smaller crescent wrench and some pliers and hands i bent the plate that the washer clips on to and with testing got them working perfect now.
