Smile Windshield Wiper Blades 05 Sightseer 30B

The windshield blades on my 05 Sightseer 30B were worn out. I Checked around and Camping World wanted $25.00 each plus shipping. Read some Posts on this site and ended up at Wallmart. However, nobody gave a specific blade or Brand to look for. After opening up several wiper blade packages, and comparing my worn out blade for size, I ended up buying the "Michelin High Performance " 24 inch 60.5 cm size. They were about $8.00 and some change for each blade. Took them home and used my dremel tool to cut out the middle pin that has an plastic swivel attachment. Once removed and cleaned out, I drilled thru the existing hole and elarged it to fit the bolt that is used to attach the blade to the main wiper assembly. Bolted it up and that's it. It was a perfect fit. It took about 10 minutes to install both blades and I saved $30.00 dollars. The Michelin package says it is " Rated Consumer Best Buy". To me, it looks much more sturdy that the factory blade it replaced. Hope this helps out some folks.

Thank you for the information maybe you can let us know after you've used them a while how they worked out for you.

I have several cab over trucks with windshields like class A homes and have found over the years they did not work out too well and guessing they did not because they were too light weight. Mind you now a lot of the complaints about them were in wet snow and slushy condition which hopefully you will not be encountering.

Now that you saved $30+, go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy 2, 1/2 pipe insulation foam tubes, 3' long (or what ever size they come in 3 or 4ft) and slide them up over the blade to keep the sun from drying out the rubber blade. Cost about another $3. Of course if you are on the road everyday with the MH then it could be a pain. but if you are setup for any amount of time it is well worth it.
