Did you know that you can't just go to Auto Zone and buy new windshield wipers for your 15 year old RV ...
So, where do you go?

Rock Auto carries the 24- and 28 inch commercial bolt-on blades made by Trico for under $2. The package you get will have anyone's guess as to brand name but the wiper inside is Trico.

The Blades on my new to me coach had rusted metal so I am going to replace the entire blade. I have found them on Amazon but thanks so much.

EBay, I've switched to the silicone Rainex. Great blade, good price.

The first time i replaced, i bought the whole blade assembly at Walmart. Was hard to find 24" refills. It didn't fit the wiper arm so i only used the rubber strip and discarded the rest. Had to do some finagling (bending tabs and so forth) to get it to work this way. This last time, i bought the whole blade assembly and modified the arm so that it would work. I forgot what all i did but i do remember that some drilling was involved. It'll be easy next time though..

I bought 2- 28" wiper blades at Menards big-box store to put on my Winnebago. I had to remove the plastic auto clip so I could use the small bolt to attach them to the Winnebago arm. I guess they're OK, because they've been there for over 5,000 miles and still leave a streak-free windshield.

Costco sells Goodyear wiper blades up to 26" with a universal fit kit. They're about $8.00 each.

I bought shorter blades, wasn't about to spend $50 on original length.

Modify to Fit
We had 32" wipers on our 2015 Thor Palazzo and they were hard to find and very $$$. So I went to Wally World and the longest blades they routinely stock are 28". Checked to see if the 4" made a significant difference and it didn't. I then modified my wiper arm J-hooks to accept these standard automotive wiper blade assemblies. Now, when I need new blades on the road I can find them at any WM. The J-hooks had to be milled (or ground) to be a little narrower.
