Winegard has removed Youtube for LNB removal

Couple weeks ago I e-mailed Winegard asking about a problem with my Trav'ler satellite dish mounted on the roof. Winegard responded with an explanation to test the cable from the LNB down to the turrent, and linked to a 3 minute YouTube showing how this is done. A very good item to view.

However, the next week I went to re-read and study this Youtube but it was gone and a statement indicating it was removed by the uploader.

Tried finding it again on Google but the same results, "it was no longer available". Any ideas on why Winegard would remove this Youtube when it was to their advantage in order to sell the special weather protected cable?

Think I have it remembered but still a little unsure up on the LNB end about getting to that end of the cable in order to change it.

Anyone seen it any where else?

Very easy to replace, yours should look like the one below. In the center of the photo are two bolts and nuts, on top of the arm and two underneath. They hold the LNB on. It's been awhile, but they're either 3/8 or 7/16 with a phillips or slotted screw head (take both). Also bring a Sharpie and mark the position of the LNB on the arm. Loosen the bolts and slide the LNB off. The end of the cable will be inside the arm, attached to the LNB. Remove it and feed the new cable down the arm.

There is also a clamp on the cable, shown in the photo. It needs to be removed to release the cable. Reinstall everything in reverse order and you're done.

Thanks Don,
Did it this afternoon and for once a project went as easy as the directions received. Everything just as you pictured. Only problem is, the new cable didn't fix the problem. Dish still can't find satellites. Will have to see what Winegard suggests next.

Replacing the LNB Sheath Cable looks very similar to the one Winegard linked me to. Thanks for that information. Already got the new cable installed with information from the Forum, but all that effort and the new cable didn't help my problem. Waiting to see what Winegard will come up with next.
