You know we travel a lot and use direct TV and we like the local channels.... we have just 1 receiver so we're eligible to connect the local channels as we travel... but the monkeys at direct TV can't seem to get this done with one phone call... in 5 years of traveling and at least 8 times a year.... we just can't get them to reset the receiver on the first phone call.....

I've suggested until I'm blue in the face for them to put this on their web site so we can plug in the serial # and let it happen.... its like 99% of the people don't have a clue how to reset the receiver local address (zip code)... if one of you has a work around for this.. a special number... a special location on the message tree... I'd sure like to know... they have gone so far as to send out a tech.... who never shows up at the right address.... when he calls he touches his key pad the channels turn on in 15 seconds..... its that easy....

BTW thanks for listening to me share my peace and I'll get off the soap box..
