Winnebago Journey friends- Tire help

Hi All,
another tire question that has been asked i'm sure many times.
I am a newbie to the diesel pusher family. I have a 2004 Winnebago Journey
39K. Bought used from dealership 1 yr ago. Front tires are new however, back 4 need to be replaced. They are the 255/80R 22.5 size XRV Michellin's,, you know , the ones that must be dipped in gold because of the price .

Can I replace with the 265/75R 22.5 ?? With no clearance problems anywhere?
Most my local tire dealerships are scratching their heads.

Thank you all in advance

Ron

Hey Ron - Here is a link where this has been talked about before. Might give you what you want... You can do a search like "255/80 22.5 substitute" and see many more!

http://www.irv2.com/forums/f258/subs...-a-243363.html

The 275/70 22.5 are mentioned, and I know are available in XZA2 tire. We've been very pleased with the ride comfort/handling/noise level of these tires. FMCA discount program brings the prices down to help the wallet some!

And of course, many other good tires at lower price points then the XZA2.

You might double check these tire recommendations, under the Winnebago Owners section too, as suspect other Journey/Meridian owner's have made a shift from these tires before!

Best of luck to you,
Smitty
