Wiper motor won't shut off runs all the time with ign on

I had a similar problem that was caused by rain water in the electrical connection to the motor, as well as rust damage to the motor. Replaced the motor and taped up the electrical connection and all has been well.

Mine was a bad wiper module. Since the module is made from virgin Unobtanium I sent it out for a rebuild. $100 later and wipers back to normal.
