I had a similar problem that was caused by rain water in the electrical connection to the motor, as well as rust damage to the motor. Replaced the motor and taped up the electrical connection and all has been well.

Mine was a bad wiper module. Since the module is made from virgin Unobtanium I sent it out for a rebuild. $100 later and wipers back to normal. Remanufacture & Repair of Electric Motor Controls and Battery Chargers for Forklifts, Golf Cars, Scrubber Sweepers, Material Handling Equipment, Go-Karts, Boats and Mining Equipment. New GE and Curtis Controls, Test Equipment and Handsets

Indicate your motorhome model and year and you will get better answers.
