Winnie 35f - Hot Water all faucets, but not shower

Hi All - Hoping my fellow 35f owners know if there is a valve somewhere that lets the hot water get to the shower faucet. I am getting super hot water at every sink (kitchen, half bath & rear bath) but only normal tap water temp comes out of the shower. I shut off one faucet and then the other just to ensure the lines weren't simply reversed, but no such luck. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Mike

I'm trying to decipher your original post but it sounds to me like you have water pressure to the hot side in the shower but no hot water is coming out at the shower. I'm going to assume you waited plenty long enough to get the hot water there.

The only other thing I can think of is you may have some crossover between hot and cold at one of your other fixtures if they have a mixing type valve. To test for crossover, close the supply valve going TO the hot water heater and then open your hot water tap in the shower. There should be no water coming out if the hot water tank supply valve is closed. If there is, you have a bad cartridge in one of your mixing valves. Very common problem.

Yup, agree. Likely a bad mixing valve.
