We grew up in Rochester NY, plenty of big snow, we are both experienced snow and ice drivers. When in the coach we drive through most anything to the very first safe place to get off the road and wait. We are usually in the south when this happens and most of them have not got a clue. They are way to dangerous and frankly I have not taken the coach with car attached into an icy parking lot just to see how it reacts, something we do with every new to us car.
We dewinterize the water system before we leave and plan on keeping the furnace on to keep heat in the service bays. When plugged in a really cold night I deploy a trouble light with incandescent bulb to provide additional heat.
The biggest problem I see is finding a campground open anyplace in the northeast. I can think of one in Carlyle PA and another in Vermont. Oh yeah,
Yogi at Shangri-La - Milton, PA south of Williamsport PA stays open unless the creek has flooded the entry road, call ahead.
