Yes, you have to drain the water out of the Truma. It is very simple to do. The instructions are in the manual posted previously. But in brief remove the outside cover, lift up on the black plastic catch and rotate the big yellow spout out and down. Near the end of its travel it will pull out the inlet water filter. Remove the filter and store it until spring. Lethe Truma drain a few minutes, then close it up. Pro tip - depressurize the water system before opening up the Truma if you want to stay dry. Don’t ask how I know this.
If you are using RV anti-freeze, there is a water heater bypass valve in the wet bay of your Tiffin. Rotate it to the winterize position. It sends anti-freeze around the Truma rather than filling it. Truma doesn’t want anti freeze in the unit, though it’s not clear to me hat harm it could do.
