Question wiper blades

We have 28" truvision wiper blades on our motor home but we can't get them to lay flat. Is there a trick to getting them to lay flat on the windshield and not lift up when a truck goes by?

there is an add on spring that you can get at any auto parts store that will fix it here is a link of what they look like.Home Hardware - Add-On Wiper Arm Springs or NAPA AUTO PARTS or just replace the spring that is located in the wiper arm.

Most wiper blades have a designed in curve to follow car windshields that are curved. You need to shop at a heavy truck dealer or NAPA and see if they can get you a pair that are straight. I tried a set of Rain-X blades because Consumers Report rated them very high. WRONG!! They had a very distinct curve to them and they would not wipe the center. I found some at NAPA that worked.

After almost 10 years I just put new wipers on our rig. Ours are 32" and hard to find at a reasonable price. I paid about $80 for the pair back in 2005 and had them stored all this time.
I've seen only one RV place that carried the 32" blades as open stock. I had to buy mine through a Newmar dealer.

I saw the wiper springs at NAPA but didn't buy any because ours work fine as is.
