Wireless backup cameras

I want to upgrade my backup camera system on my coach. Does anyone have experience with the wireless systems on the market? Do they work well? Interference problems? Who makes a good one? Thanks for your help.

I bought one to go with my Garmin GPS. I wired it to the license plate light so when I turn the lights on I can see what I am towing. It is not as clear as the stock unit but I think that is the low resolution of the GPS but the wireless part of the device works just fine.

I saw this on YouTube and was amazed, because our older wireless rearview cam (mounted on our pick-up) can't hold a candle to this one.

Best luck

I bought the Tadi Brothers backup camera with the seven inch monitor for 374.99. I have a 38 ft MH but they give you an antenna with a ten foot cable attached. So far it works as advertised no problem with interference. Mounted mine just below the tv in the front and cut and bent the mounting bracket so it is angled towards the drivers seat. They give you a couple of options for powering both units I just cut the cable and spliced into the old wiring in the front and ran a wire from my brake air compressor (on when the ignition is on) up to the top of the end cap. The image is about ten times sharper than the old unit. And this unit has a 120 degree field of view.
Keep Smiling,
Bob

The previous owner of my motorhome installed one identical to this one being sold on ebay 7" TFT LCD Rear View Monitor + Wireless Night Vision Car Reverse Backup Camera | eBay The best thing I can say about it is that it does work though the color accuracy reminds one of a "colorized" movie shown on TBS from 25-30 years ago, but mine may be defective as there seems to be almost no green color channel from the camera, also it does also tend to get occasional static glitches that can momentarily distort the image but I would call that a minor issue.

When doing an cheapo replacement from Amazon, once, I tested the wireless option, before hard wiring it and it did work well in the driveway.

I purchased a wireless back up camera for my Dually and Trailer set up for my race car.
Tadi Bros wireless. I think it was in 2015. The first one I bought would not work at all. Wiring for the monitor was pathetic IMO. I posted a negative review on the web somewhere cant remember. (1st product review I have ever done) and a Tadi rep called me about 15 minutes after I posted a negative review.
They must really monitor the review web sites closely. They were very eager to send me a new parts that would work and asked me to remove the negative review.
I received the new parts and it still did not work. So Tadi sent me a new complete system that was suppose to be great. 2nd set up still would not work on the rig. I just gave up. I am sure there is some type that works great and maybe the wireless Tadi system works in some cases but I did not have good success with it.

Thanks for your input. I will be towing my racecar trailer behind my coach at times. What kind of racing do you do? I drag race.

Do a search, lots of threads on cameras. FWIW, I have a Furrion and am happy with it. Trailer was prewired and setup for this unit when I bought it.

I tried several wireless camera systems on my 35' MH within 2 months of each other. I wasn't happy with the quality of the picture (grainy on one, purple on one, and static on the last one). I went with a wired system from Rear View Camera. Great video feed from the camera! I've had this one installed for about a year, and really like it. RVS has great customer service too!

I tried a wireless unit a couple years ago and found that it could not keep up with the image changes above 30 mph. Can't remember the name of it. How are the current ones at 65 mph? The camera would be about 70' away from the monitor.
