Wireless tow lights

I seen several people mention wireless tow lights for the toad. Where do you get them? What is their power source? How long does the power source last. Any thing else I should know?

If they wireless then the power isn't coming from a wire.

4 AA lithium batteries per light (not included)

thanks for the video. YOu would think they would use lithium rechargeable batteries. Those batteries dont look like they would last very long. resupply for $5.00 at so many hours. Certainly there is a better design. I like the idea very much. How would you plug up the brakes.

I bought a set on the advice of a friend. They are LED s and his and mine (different brands) both use 6AAA batteries in each light. Friend said the batteries last a long time. I've only used mine once and they worked great. I bought mine from Amazon. As for brakes I went with the Blue Ox Patriot. It plugs into the 12v outlet in the toad and the wireless control plugs into a 12v outlet in the Coach. Both work with no problems. Also bought on Amazon.

Try Welcome to TowMate - EMERGENCY, TRANSPORT, RECOVERY AND RECREATIONAL LIGHTING. , it's just outside of town here where I live. Was looking at the TM22Y last week, a small magnetic LED bar that you recharge, and a transmitter plug that goes in the RV. Can't get any easier than this.

Personally, I have a pair of wired lights, which I keep permanently wired, hidden behind moulding and under the carpet. I don't worry about anyone stealing my $20 buck lights when I'm parked somewhere.

I've used the Towmate on my toad for several years. Easy cigarette lighter charge that last well over 12 hours of use. Best part is that it's wireless and easily transferred to any vehicle in minutes. These systems are used in the tow truck business and super bright.

Towmate TM3 on my Wrangler Toad. Plug them to either the wall charger or a 12v plug. We may purchase a Grand Cherokee to replace a VW diesel being repurchased by VW. No worries the Towmate lights and RVi brake can be used on either Toad. That is part of the reason I went with portable solutions.
