Pretty much all of California!!!

We went to the Grand Canyon two weeks ago and have traveled I-10 dozens of times between Needles and the Colorado River without incident. We were cruising along E/B at 60 mph and hit a heave in the road that caused my left front shock to bottom out. I looked in the mirror to see our friend RV come off the ground. No warning, no signs. About a mile farther, another one.

The city of New York (and the state) should be ashamed and embarrassed about their roads. What gets me is some of the patches are worse than the road was before you patched it. I bet if you collected the parts on the roadside once a week you could open a used parts store and do very well.

I80/90 toll road from border to border in Indiana. Worse than ANY freeway we have in CA. If I ever do that again, I will drop down to US 6 East. The story goes, that IN contracted out the tolls and upkeep to a private company and it went belly up; tolls are still collected but no work is being done. I docent at the RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart shared that story.

Anything in New York and southern New England. And I have the pleasure of driving them everyday. 😲

I-20 through Shreveport

I just went through there last week. The road was very rough. I would suggest using the bypass if your travels take you that way.
