A modern gas engine is easily good for 200k+ miles, so 63k is not a big deal if reasonably well cared for. Transmission is more likely to need a major overhaul before the engine, and even that should be good for 120k or so. 6k miles/year is average for a motorhome.

You should expect to replace some things along about 85k-120k, though. Some likely candidates are the alternator, starter, engine water pump, and brake pads.

It is a F53

Current owner has had it since 2010 and has put about 16000 miles on it.

That is an excellent question. More should ask it when they are selling. We are on our 4th RV right now. I never sold one that was in worse or the same condition as it was when we purchased it. I am anal about systems working as they should. Mine has 52500 on it and I would jump in it tomorrow and go coast to coast with no worries. Problem is that a potential buyer never really knows how honest I am and I get that. On the other hand after 4 motor home purchases I feel I know what to look for and what to test. Obviously no one can say with certainty that the tranny or the engine is gonna run for another 40K miles.

Major issue at this point is that I need to sell before we buy again. I've been in the position where I owned 2 RV's at once. I didn't enjoy it and have no plans of doing it again !!!
