Would you buy a dishwasher again?
I am getting ready to order a new coach and one of the options offered is a dishwasher. For all you owners with dishwashers is it worth it? Would you order one again? Do you use it often, or do you only use paper plates while camping?

I just finished taking out our never used Fisher-Paykel and putting in a drawer. Ours came with it but the wife didn't want it.

I removed mine (it was failing) and replaced it with a 2-tier stainless pots/pans drawer assembly. We prefer the drawers. If I was purchasing new, I would take drawers.

Absolutely!! We use it all the time. It’s quiet so we usually turn it on before we go to bed.

Replaced our oven/stovetop with a dishwasher/stovetop. Wouldn't ever give up a dishwasher. It uses less water than hand washing and dishes are not sitting on the counter drying. We already had plenty of storage so didn't need more. Going on 8 years of full time and still going strong.

I married my dishwasher 51 years ago. I think I'll keep her.

We Boondock often an the Dishwashers will save A LOT OF WATER - add that to the Fact the the DW only drinks Wine out of Wine Glasses so ..........just saying.
I would never have a Coach without one.

I installed a dishwasher after a few years of hand
washing. I would absolutely always have a dishwasher
in my next motor home. Previous positive claims
sum it all up. However not a fan of the dishwasher
in a drawer. JMHO

In spite of the fact that previous poster is marginally hard of hearing I can hear the quiet dishwasher
We would NEVER buy a MH without a dishwasher or have a space to install a dishwasher after purchase of the MH.
Dishwasher is now a MUST have and I agree it SAVES water when dry camping

When we bought our DP, it didn't have a dishwasher. It did before we drove it home.

We use our dishwasher all the time , but without water. It's a great place to store our dishes. The DW prefers to hand wash in a dish pan and we dump the soapy water down the toilet. Helps the grey tank last longer when boondocking and makes flushing the black easier. We wouldn't buy another one.

I think it depends on the situation. We full time and found that we actually use less water by using the dishwasher vs hand cleaning. With that said, we didn't use a lot of water conservation reusing the soap water with a bucket and so forth. At the end of the day, we find it very convenient to run the dishwasher every 5 days or so

We love our dishwasher, it's the second one for us. We use to put our breakfast dishes in the sink, then lunch silverware with the intent to wash them all at once after dinner. I hated seeing dishes in the sink all day. We don't use full size plates every night, so we get about three days worth of dishes in the dishwasher and then turn it on the third night. If I listen carefully, I can hear it running, but it isn't loud enough to interfere with watching TV, so we often start it in the evening. Ours uses very little water and when washing on NORMAL, it runs for 135 minutes (Fisher Paykal).

Ours have never been used, except for a Lid Drawer. If you can't wash the few dishes by hand then, you're getting along in years. Besides we dry camp alot. Still looks brand new, without the leaks that can develope over time.
