Wouldn't start battery dead

Every thing was working fine .Everything. WAnted to start it yesterday an no thing.Checked batteries that are 3 years old an they were totally discharged.Later in afternoon i found hazard lights on dash were on an i could not get them to go off.I than isolated each battery an charged themAfter researchiing this site an others i was thinking i needed a new turn signal switch.

However this morning as a last resort i squirted WD40 in both turn signal an 4way pull switch an all seems well.Aparantly the hasard pull switch was sticking an even though i cycled it a few times it did not do what it was suppose to do before i used WD40.

You do have to be careful w/ WD40 and live electrical... aerosol propellant is propane; many years ago, the MSDS for bulk said combustible, where aerosol said flammable, but believe all SDS now say Flammable?
