2017 Era Power Sofa threaded rod disconnected from motor

In my 2017 Winnebago Era 70x, the power sofa has two threaded rods connected to motors underneath the couch. The motors spin the rods, which raise and lower the power sofa.

But on one side, the threaded rod will become disconnected from the motor.

This video: https://youtu.be/yVKWcL-xdz0?t=56 shows what happens when the motor engaged, and attempts to spin the rod. You can see that the motor will spin, and the rod will just "slip" and not spin. With enough up and down operations on the sofa, the rod will eventually slip off, putting all the work of raising and lowering the sofa on the other motor and rod (on the other side of the couch).

I then use some pliers to spin the rod back on to the motor.

so . ..
how do i get this rod to connect properly to the motor and stay connected?

note: you can watch the entire video to get an idea of where this hardware is on the van

Replacement Motor Assembly

RDog,

This is part number 590247 from Smith Richards Inc (www.smithrichards.com). The current design can no longer slip due to a bad spot weld, it has been cross pinned to ensure a secure and long lasting fit.

Kindest Regards
Smith Richards Inc.
