2023 Travato city water hook up question

As you may know our Winnebago Travato has a city water hook up bottom right corner of passenger side of the vehicle, rear of vehicle. You can hook up the hose just fine but then toe door closes on the hose.

How have other of you Travato owners resolved this issue?

So looking forward to help with this issue. Jeffrey L Ottle.

Open Door...fill fresh water tank...use on board pump so you can CLOSE the rear doors

*City Water connection is a joke. Who wants to leave rear door open so hose can be hooked up????

Is there a trap door below the connection point? Or a hole or other? If yes, get a 90 degree elbow fitting and see if the door will close.
If not, see prior poster's comments.

Trevato is a travel van. It has been redesigned in 2022 to be a 4 season van. All water connections and piping are inside van now.

A person simply needs to fill the tank when needed and use the van as designed and for what it was designed for. If your using it as a stationary RV it will have compromises. It’s not a poor design at all. But just how much water can you use in a b van galley or wet bath really? I think most will be happier with the redesign that buy the van for it’s intended purpose.
