2023 Winnebago Travato

New 2023 Winnebago Travato 59K owner here. Please, what is the right way to hook up the sewer line in say an RV park so as to get black tank dumped completely and correctly. Do I need to flush the black tank every time? First time I found that the tank did completely drain and that the sewer line had residual contents that leaked out upon disconnecting the sewer line from the vehicle. Thank you.

That's pretty normal. Not much you can do besides excessive flushing, and that won't guarantee it will fully empty.
Wear gloves. Hazmat suit optional.

Always a good idea to not empty the black tank until there is enough water to get a good flow. In other words, better to empty when there is plenty of water in the tank. You can also add fresh water through the toilet if you need to. Also, always empty the black tank first. You can then use the grey tank water to help clean the hoses. If you have a black tank flush system recommend using that every time you empty the black tank. If you don't have a black tank flush system, just fill the black tank up a few times using fresh water from the toilet. Doesn't hurt to travel with some fresh water in the black tank to allow it to slosh around to help clean the tank. You may also want to add some of the liquid chemicals available at wal mart or other retailers.
