yes, I am aware that Advanced RV is rather pricey but this video shows promise as to what the industry can do when partnering with other companies.

Hymer/Road Trek also have the technology but done in a more traditional system utilizing Lithium batteries. Their advantage is that the overall costs are less than Advanced RV. Anyone know if Pleasure Way is currently doing similar or plans to? I know they use Lithiums but think a standard generator is still required.

I love boondocking and having such systems would allow to have not only extend stays but the ability to use the AC in hot temps and electric heaters in the cold temps ... all run off grid, using the batteries. The drawback I see is that the vehicle needs enough gas/diesel to spare. When you are in the middle of no where you better make sure you have enough fuel to get back to a service station.
