ANY Up-Dates on 2020-Class B, MB-Sprinter VAN Releases

As of Nov 3, 2019. My Subject above this post kind of says what I'm asking? ANY Up-Dates on 2020-Class B, MB-Sprinter VAN Releases.

Now already in-play is information on AMAZON Buying up 20,000-new MB-Sprinters. I found "no" updates by Manufators in the Manufators Forum of IRV2.com. Would any all-knowing person happen to have "FACTUAL" Information about the 2020-MB product CAMPER VAN?

Thanks, for any relevant known feedback?

New MB vans

There are a few new 2019 conversions available now we waited 6 months to get one from one manufacturer and finally cancelled to buy a Winnebago Boldt which was available and which fulfilled our needs. MB restructured on Nov 1 and the van division is now known as Daimler Vans. As you hinted, their first focus was on the commercial market and support for private buyers of conversions is sketchy at best, but improving. I couldn’t get my van to provide an internet hotspot as the ability to do so was limited to commercial accounts last week. This week, there is support, but the access to it is obtuse. Registration on line is necessary to get a sign on code. From there, one can get on line through the hotspot (I am told, as I haven’t had time on our trip to do so yet). Private buyer support should improve by leaps and bounds soon as privately owned vans become more prevalent.

I actually spoke to a Winnebago rep about two weeks ago regarding questions on the 2020 view we ordered 6 weeks ago. I was told then they they hadn’t even started building them yet....

I did get my questions answered, though

Someone else had mentioned their 2020 view had been built but was being held at Winnebago.

I did find this: https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2019/M...Communications
But it may not be relevant....

so we wait.

While watching an NFL game Sunday Nov. 10, a Mercedes Benz commercial came on specifically touting the availability of their Sprinter chassis. I'd like to think that commercial is a favorable indication for resumption of class B motor homes built on the Sprinter.

What I am going to say may or may not have any effect what so ever on Winnebago. We are waiting for an order on another Manufacture.

Here is the story I got as I have somethings in the works prior to the NEWS with AMAZON taking 20,000-MB-Sprinter Models. That news was in the paper. about 30-days after or longer I called our manufacture to find out what was up and did I need to make any changes. Now I know this could be considered here-say. But was told MB would be sending some new 2020-models to them (Now this could also be other up fitters as well. But that is a guess on my part. I'm thinking MB may have to deliver so many vans per month to AMAZON and the extras going to Up Fitters. On another Post I learned from another he would be waiting maybe until JAN-FEB for his unit.

So all of this said you may want to call Winnebago Class B section and find out with the AMAZON 20,000-order would they be supplying them (Winnebago) any new VANS from MB to up fitters. I'm thinking they may be doing so to keep there yearly main orders happy.

What do you think?

Just a GUESS and putting parts of the puzzle together as wanting is waiting.
