Are there better sidewall-mount range exhaust fans out there for Class Bs?

We recently purchased a ‘94 Red-E-Kamp. It’s our first Class B after having: 3 Class C’s, a travel trailer, and 2 pop ups in our past. In a smaller space, one of the things that can be more noticeable is every little squeak and rattle. I’ve spent some good time getting rid of pretty much all of them except for the Ventline V211–13 range hood vent. It has plastic clips that hold the damper in place while driving, but still rattles. My solution at the moment is to stuff the damper with paper towel until parked where I remove it. Camper tape (foam weatherstripping) is another option. What suggestions do others have? The design of these are pretty cheesy. I haven’t found another vent cover that is the same size, a better design, and more attractive. Heng’s makes a better style but the wrong size.

How are others dealing with the potential road noise of the range hood vent?
