Black streaks

I have a 2019 White Pleasure-Way Plateau T S , I can’t figure out why the black steaks on the sides keep coming back. I have rolled out the windows and washed and wax under them . The streaks seem to be coming from the hinges / or metal that runs length way on windows. Also streaks below the door handles. You can clean the streaks off with wax and in two days later they are back bad as ever. I was wondering if anyone else has that problem ? I ask the dealer and they had no answer.[emoji15] I hope someone has a way to cure the problem. Sure looks bad ...!!!

Probably from the rubber seals around the window. Try cleaning them and with a brush/soap.

Welcome to the White MH Club. Basically black streaks are caused by pollutants, dirt and algae from the roof flowing down in the rain, concentrating at windows and vents and streaking the bottom edges. Everyone has a cure just google black streaks. Mine is washing MH roof to bottom 3-4 times a year

As above wash the roof with a mixture of Dawn, bleach, water. You may want to use a medium hard brush to help remove stuff. If you think it’s the rubber seals around the windows the you might try putting 303 protectant on the seals to help slow uv damage to them.

This a class B Sprinter Van ,doesn’t seem to be coming from roof. I don’t see any streaks around the top of van. Just under windows and door handles and etc. I have washed this van top to bottom MANY times since Oct . That is when I purchased it new.

I have just recently tried a sample area with Simple Green. It worked. I understand you need to wax afterwards though. I haven't had time to do a thorough cleaning to get best results.
