It’s the best built, highest quality B+ available. The only one with a complete one-piece coach body. As long as it’s been well cared for you can’t go wrong. Engine noise won’t be much less, but the unit will weigh less, and have less wind resistance, so you won’t need as much power. A lot of the engine noise is driving style - keep it down to 4000rpm and below and it should be tolerable. Coach house probably uses more sound deadening too.
If you’re buying new you’ll get the new drive train with the new motor, so less engine noise because it makes its power at lower rpm. The new F53 chassis has improved handling. Not sure about the E450 but the website says among the new features is “stability control” so it sounds like they’ve updated the E series chassis as well.
Also a lot less wind noise in a B+ like this - much more aerodynamic. I had a Phoenix Cruiser, which was nice but not as, but one thing I really noticed was the increased wind noise in a conventional class C. The only place these fall short is in storage and interior space. They are smaller, and have fewer and smaller compartments. So depending on how you use it, that could be a factor.
