Coachmen Starflyte 1998-2000 / Dynamax Starflyte 2001-2002

COACHMEN & DYNAMAX STARFLYTE Class B+ RV's, 1998 - 2002

I finally got a Coachmen Starflyte - Early production 1998 210-FRB. Ford E350 chassis, 5.4L Triton V-8. Mine has the single rear axle with 2 wheels (early production). Later 1998's through 2002 have the dually rear axle.

TO: Starflyte owners and ex-owners,

QUESTION: What have your experiences been with your Starflyte? The good? The bad?

I am impressed with the fiberglass construction. I like the interior layout of mine - permanent rear bed and the length/size. 21 feet is just right for me.

Thanks

Dave Wish

1999 Starflyte

My 1999 Starflyte on a Ford E350 chassis V10 engine, appears to have no regulator on the propane tank. I found that it only has a hose coming down attached to the tank. Can anyone please tell me where the regulator is? I am trying to hook up a Stay-A -while deluxe T for an outside additional propane tank, but i cannot find the regulator.

Propane Regulator on Starflyte

Suzi,

There IS a propane regulator on your Starflyte. The regulators are hardly ever right next or attached to the tank. You need to follow the hose.

If you follow the hose it will go up over the propane tank and then over the the left frame rail and then curve back. It will then go into the top of an oddly shaped black plastic "box" or "cover" that is attached to the left frame rail (photos attached) It has 6 screws in it which you remove to gain access to the regulator..

The propane regulator is inside of this black plastic "box or cover". It is a protective cover that protects the regulator from dirt, mud water, etc.
