Does the RV manufacturer matter as much for class B vs other classes

Hi,

Does the manufacturer of a class B matter as much of a A or C as the B come pre built vs a cut away?

Thanks,

You'll still most likely see both a difference in fit/finish of the interior and the quality of materials used, as well as possible differences in the vans themselves between manufacturers.

Thanks,

That makes sense.

I ask as I see a lot of brands selling them who I would never consider for an A or C.

YES. Take a look at a Pleasure Way versus a Winnebago. You will see a huge difference.

Better look at used unless you're willing to wait a year plus for either brand. They are top shelf though.. Airstream makes a very nice van as well. Big money though.

I haunt the Airstream forums now and I see people complaining about serious issues with new Interstates and then getting hung out to dry for warranty service with people getting appointments now out in January. Maybe no worse than any other brand these days.

My budget will be for a 3-5 year old.model. I will hold.tpigh until I can afford the one I want.

This is all research.

Wow! I'd be fuming after spending all that money. But, I guess it can happen to any brand, and I'm hearing that it does.

Sounds like a great plan! Unless you're after Corian countertops and an induction stove, check out the Entegra line as well.

I was so impressed with the build quality when I bought mine. It too was used.

Thanks, have had a look at the Entegras, I liked the full body paint.

Not pushed about induction on Corian.

I looked and read everything 'B' before I made my decision (for over a year).

I liked the fact that Pleasure Way has a 5 yr. house warranty but it is only for the original owner. I really like Pleasure Way's fit and finish and have been pleased so far.

I took delivery of my coach on May 11th.

Not to knock Airstream but an acquaintance of mine bought a new Airstream Interstate about a year ago and is totally disgusted with it. I don't have the all the details but everything from the coach, dealer and manufacturer has been a terrible experience.

Another friend of mine bought a 28ft. Airstream Globetrotter trailer and has good luck with it.

Another friend of mine who had a 2017 Winnebago View had good luck and service (has sense sold it).

So far after 3 trips and almost 1,000 miles with my Pleasure Way Plateau, I have not needed any adjustments from PW or the dealer (fingers crossed)

Safe travels,
Mark
