Electrical Problem

Hi All
I have a 2017 Pleasureway Lexor Ts. I am hoping someone can help with the following problem. I am having issues with the outside LED light and the ceiling lighting in the washroom. The outside light has 8 small LED lights in it and when it does work only one lights up. it usually doesn't work at all. The issue with the washroom ceiling lights seems to be tied to what's affecting the outside light. They work intermittently sometimes both on full sometimes only one works or very dim or not at all. Sometimes when the water pumps turns on it will dim the lights the in washroom if they are on. Has anyone else had this problem? I would appreciate any help with these issues.
Regards Lexor

Sounds like you have a ground bonding problem somewhere. Loose or corroded bonding lug.

I had a 2017 Lexor and sometimes all the LEDs in the outside light would light up and sometimes they wouldn't. I never replaced the light, but I would start by getting a new outside light and see what that does. Could be that water got in there and is causing a grounding issue. These lights are cheap. I'd also check the connections to the bathroom light (mine burnt out) and to the 12v distribution panel.

I agree. It's almost definitely a problem with a ground connection.

While I agree the assessment, telling the OP where to start looking will be quite challenging.
If it were my rig, I'd start by pulling the switch and looking for appropriate colored wires and attempting to trace the wires back through the ceiling or wall to a common connecting place.
Easier said than done, most times the manufacturer give very little slack.. Verify which color is Negative and which is Positive in your rig.. I believe in mine the white is negative, but that may not be a standard.

Best of luck, loose grounds are not easy to isolate.

There is not much information here. It might help if we knew what was working correctly on the 12 volt system and when. For instance does it make any difference when plugged into AC power with the converter charging the batteries? With the chassis engine running?

If it only happens when on battery power only, I'd look at the battery connections and maybe the batteries themselves. What is the battery voltage when lights, etc. are on and not plugged into AC power?

Follow the negative battery lead down to the ground connection and examine it. Look around on the frame to see if there are an ground wires connected to the frame where the paint may be present. I'd expect to find ground connections underneath the vehicle on the frame.
