Another Zero G user here. With all the negative reviews out there on expanding hoses I wasn't sure how it'd hold up. Got the 5/8", 75ft size. Used it for 2 seasons with the Phaeton & now I'm on my 3rd season with it after transferring it to my S&B where it gets way more use, plus it's outside (exposed to the elements from April to November) now that I have it at home. When it was with the Phaeton, it spent all its time in a storage bay, unless I was using it. I love how light weight it is, very easy to coil & compact to store when empty. You do have to watch for kinks which will restrict flow, but that's the same as any regular rubber hose. So far I really like my Zero G.

I am a Zero G also.

I have 2 x 25' (1 potable and 1 for other uses) and 1x 25' Zero G along with 1 x 25' and 1 x 50' white hoses.

I hate hate hate my white hoses. Stiff, never roll right, pain to store so I only use them when the 75' of Zero G is not enough to reach my water source (1-2 times/year.

My 50' Zero G gets the most, and the 25' gets used the few times we stay in campground or I need more than 50' to reach my source.

I am on my 3rd year and going strong with these hoses. I do use QD fittings on all of my ends.
