Feedback welcome on purchasing a Van for RVing..

..or other such as possibly, a B-Class.


I have been building my Credit for about 6 years now, and saving money so that I can buy a rig to live-in part-time. I also want to un-retire and do seasonal jobs, with the Older and Bolder crowd, or, just word-of-mouth jobs.


It's a big under-taking for me as I have sat back for 6 years now, including this whole Covid thing and realize I am not at all ready to stop working, at least part-time.


I am on my own, for many years, and know I need input for picking the right vehicle, and just finding out how others of my kind are doing things.



I'll be around, and hope this is a good place to start as I didn't see anything specific for Vans. One of the Mods led me here as a possibility

If you're serious about a van conversion, or a class B (same thing) motorhome, I would suggest trying your questions, and explain your situation and plans over on <classbforum dot com>. There's a greater concentration of van/B enthusiasts over there (it's all they do, more or less) and I know there are some very knowledgable people there on all things "down sized". There are even a few full timers, at least there were, back when I still had my Roadtrek.

Thanks! I was just looking at a conversion Van, and yes, I so need folks around me that can help me make the best decision I can! I do appreciate your help very much! I'll go over there now @Winterbagoal
