Fleetwood Irok class B

Please. Can anyone help me with a few questions about this particular unit?
I have no experience with motorhomes. None.
The salesman ran us through the process but half of what he said didn’t sink in.
The so-called owner’s manual is actually instructions for equipment installation. Nothing about actual consumer operation.
Question: according to the salesman, the fuel for the furnace comes from the gasoline tank and the propane tank operates the generator and hot water heater. I’ve got the generator up and running, but I have no idea how to activate the furnace.
Also, are these two fuel operations separate units dependent on the generator for functioning? And what is the process? Any information would be appreciated.

There should be a simple thermostat switch/dial on a wall somewhere that turns on the espar furnace. The fuel for the espar burner is supplied by the van's gas tank. The electricity for the espar blower fan is supplied by the coach batteries so you need to make sure the main battery switch is turned on so that 12V power is being supplied to the espar unit. It shouldn't be complicated. The espar furnace is completely independent from your generator.

Thanks a million Jlo! Much appreciated. One more question if I may- where’s the main propane valve located if I smell gas and need to shut everything off?

The Espar is a really nice unit. I don't have an IROK, but my master propane switch is outside my van in the panel that houses my shore power, cable and city water connections. If your switch isn't there, it's probably inside your van near your master battery switch.
