Thumbs up Ford RV Heat in Cab

I owe this a big thanks. My 31' Class C Four Winds Ford RV had issues with excessive heat in cab especially on DW side and floor between seats. Saw post about insulation and way to correct. I found a local upholstery shop that knew the problem and corrected. The factory insulation was terrible behind the dog house with big gaps near the floor. Carpet on floor was only protection from bare metal floor. I can't believe the difference. Engine noise less too. Thanks!!

Ford and RV Dealers should really address this problem. I've learned my lesson.

Next, we find our windows on the slide-out tend to rattle even on fairly smooth road. Terrible on rough roads. Any suggests?

Thanks,

And congrats on the insulation project.

Windows rattle when the rubber and felt parts wear-out. Check for fit and clean as possible, then contact the mfgt for replacement parts.

Best luck
