Which class B (fulll intact van body) conversions use a Ford V10?

Maybe you mean the small class C motorhomes like Born Free, Kodiak, and Phoenix Cruiser, and so on?
The Ford V10 on any platform will give you lousy fuel economy and noisy as heck in their maximum power and torque ranges. They may give you more overall towing and cargo capacity.

The V10 is a dependable engine and there are not many other choices.

Its not like the old days when engines fell apart at 75000 miles, all of today's modern engines last a long time.

Buy your RV for the living space.

I stand by my original evaluation. Lots of power at a price.
Something that old might need some serious work depending on the maintenance records and mileage. If it sounds good, it probably is good, as they are/were a fairly robust engine. I just didn't like the noise, thirst, and doghouse.
I might pay more attention to the water intrusion issue on an older motorhome.

That's a Class C, just like my 23.5' MH but that one has a slide.
