Help with high beam bulb replacement

Hi,
I have a 2009 Sprinter 3500. I needed to replace my headlight bulbs both low and high beam bulbs. I bought 4 new Silver Star ultra H7 bulbs from Amazon. I had no problem with the low bean bulb replacements. However, the high beam bulb replacement is different. Finally the bulb and harness either turned out or popped out. Now I don't know how the harness comes off the bulb. And also I don't know how the bulb and harness goes back in. Does it pop back in or turn back in? Please help me with this.
Thanks Jim in TN Jimnelsie@hotmail.com

It helps if you have the wires unplugged and out of the way. Don't touch the glass with your fingers. Match up the tabs on the bulb with the housing. One is larger than the others so it will only fit one way. Flip the lock wire back into the slot to hold the bulb. Plug the wire back on.

I need help with the high beam replacement

Thanks for your reply, I need help with the high beam bulb replacement, not the low beam bulb. The low beam bulb was fairly easy. The high beam bulb is a different animal. The bulb is harder to access and you cannot see what you are doing . Also the harness connection to the bulb is different. I checked You Tube and on the web on how to replace it and could find nothing.

Jim,

Did you get this sorted out yet? I finally got my Sprinter back from the dealership for warranty work. Mine is a little newer, not sure if yours has the same style headlight bulbs?

Mine has black plastic tabs that hold H7 bulbs. You have to remove/unplug the bulb from the adapter to replace the bulb. I took a few pics that might help?

Turn the large black cover on the back of the housing about 1/8 turn and it should come off.

The light bulbs are held in with plastic adapters with a tab. These also come out with about 1/8 of a turn, align tabs to reinstall.
