Install Victron in Travato 59G.

Has anyone installed a victron 700 battery monitor in their older (2016 ) 59G without solar? I know how to connect it, but would like an idea on locating where to install the bridge and then install the display. Can install a bluetooth unit, but would install without if someone has a good easy install location.

We installed one in our 1974 coach. Not the same as yours, but all installation is similar.

I assume by bridge you mean the shunt. For the BMV to work properly, it must be installed between the negative battery post and ALL OTHER connections to that post. If there any connections on the battery side you won't get accurate readings.

The display is easy to mount, and it connects with a single cable that looks like a telephone cord. Pick a convenient spot where you can run the wire.

We have the Bluetooth, but I wouldn't rely on it as my primary interface. Every time your screen turns off it has to reconnect to the BMV, making it less convenient.
