Leisure Travel Wonder Front Twin Bed question

Hi,
If anyone has a Leisure Travel Wonder Front Twin Bed model could you let me know how well the table works?

I am very interested in the unit so have been researching it but do not have one local to see. In the video it looks like one of the people gets trapped behind the table when using it while the other person would have access out the side to the refrigerator, sink, bathroom etc. But even this access looks a bit tight.

If you have this model could you describe how you work with the table in real life. Can it be left up and walked around by swinging it out of the way? Do you have to always put it away while driving?

Also what is the ccc on the yellow sticker (most likely mounted on the door)?

Thanks!

There's a Leisure Travel Facebook group where there are a couple Wonder TB owners so far, (several on order).
You can probably get your question answered over there easier and faster

We do not own this model yet but have one on order for delivery in early May. We spent some time in one in Vegas in October. Your observations are pretty much correct, to my knowledge but we did not sit and experience that table first hand. On the side opposite the TV one can scoot by that table. Inconvenient? Yeah maybe. Alternate who sits where so one is not always having to get up to get the salt and pepper!

That table config was way down the list of things that made us want this new model. It has a very nice feel. Wide open and comfortable. We owned an LTV Unity MB that we sold in anticipation of getting the new Wonder. Though the FTB does not have a slide it felt roomier than the Unity with the slide. Mostly due to the fact that there are two large windows, one on either side that let in an amazing amount of light! The bathroom is quite spacious and the galley is fantastic. Storage space is also very good with a good mix of indoor and outdoor and a lot of space for long things like fold up chairs and table.

The Transit cab is great! We are Ford people so like knowing how everything works. Chairs are comfortable and the performance is better than the Mercedes in the Unity (IMHO). The whole rig feels very good, sporty, low to the ground and with great get up and go. The Mercedes a distinct lag during acceleration that is completely absent in the Transit. For something that weighs almost 10K lbs it flat moves. And handles great and parks easily.

If you spend time inside an LTV rig and then some other brand you will see an immediate difference in the fit and finish. Hands down better. Just feels solid. Our Unity was new when we bought it and there were about three things on the punch list before we took delivery. This was our third brand new unit (travel trailer, fifth wheel, Unity). The punch list for the other two ran to pages long with something cropping up constantly. Very few (I won't say none because I simply fixed whatever there was and forgot it) problems during the 75 days we lived in it. 16,000 miles and loved every one of them.

Look at the LTV site to find the list of dealer shows around the country. You might have to travel (we had to go to Vegas from Phoenix area to see the FTB) but it will be worth it.

Thanks!

I too was amazed when I started looking at the twin bed models with bath in the rear. Really a great open feel. But quality in some of the other brands wasn't there so we really wanted to see the LTV.

Did you happen to note the ccc of the front twin model?

We currently have an LTV Libero (Chevy chassis) and love it. Quality of LTVs cannot be beat.
I am very interested in the Wonder on the Ford Chassis. The Murphy bed model only has an OCCC (occupant and cargo carrying capacity, found on the yellow sticker on the door of all RVs by law) of ~ 900#, way too small.

Thus, I was excited to see in this awesome review of the FTB model by the Fit RV, that the OCCC of the FTB model is 1890#.

Just emailed the dealer, Fretz for the OCCC of this FTB:
https://www.rvtrader.com/listing/201...eipts-adDetail

He says that it is 1246#

That one is pretty loaded, but seems low to the FIT RV reviewed one.
Honestly, was hard to believe 1800# on this chassis.

I have been researching the table issue. I think if we got this RV or any of the others we are looking at that don't have a dinette we would get the Lagun table leg and mount a table that could be swung out of the way without trapping a person. It doesn't look like much money for the great functionality.

This is part one that shows how the leg is mounted. Part 2 shows a table installed on top. It is really cool.

We own a 2018 Wonder W24 FTB. Fretz is incorrect. There is 1800 plus !
We contacted LTV direct and received the weight of our coach.

The plot thickens on OCCC:

Triple E Recreational Vehicles is recalling 792 model year 2017-2018 Unity, Wonder and Serenity motorhomes. The occupant and cargo carrying capacity (OCCC) and tire labels may have been incorrectly calculated, resulting in an indicated higher cargo capacity than actual.

The incorrect label can result in the vehicle being overloaded, increasing the risk of crash.

Triple E will notify owners, and dealers will install new OCCC and tire labels free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in March 2018. Owners may contact Triple E customer service at 1-877-992-9906. Triple E’s number for the recall is CA#8930-1.

Spoke with Customer Service today regarding this recall -
Our coach is effected and the OCC is 153 pounds less than what is on the label. New stickers are being mailed directly to the owners. Our coach has 1737 pounds of OCC - Still a lot of carry capacity for the unit.

Thanks for the update. That is a great OCCC for that chassis.
Our LTV Libero (Chevy chassis) has similar OCCC, but our GVWR is much higher (12300#) than the Transit (10360# I believe).

2LT,
Have you had yours weighed fully loaded? The Wonder twin beds has so much storage space I'm wondering if you can use it all before hitting the coach weight limits.
