Maxx Air Vent fan problems

Hi All. Glad to finally rejoin the RV Forum again. Anyway, installed a new Maxx Air vent fan in my class B last summer and now having problems with operation. the owners manual seems worthless for my issue. When I start the fan (enter manually or by remote) it starts immediately, opens fully, fan engages and immediately closes fully, stops, and beeps. A green light on the fan mounted control panel comes on and it will not operate again. Only way to get the panel to shut off is by pulling the fuse. I can though, manually open the vent and engage the fan using the mounted control panel but that is the only way it will operate. This is a Model, 7000K. Anyone else have having that problem or any suggestions? Thanks for any suggestions. Fan does work great when operating and quiet so no complaints on those fronts. Thanks All. Doug.

Does your fan have a rain sensor on it? Humidity, taking a shower, rain etc., can cause it to close.

Try lowering the temperature set point, with the fan in "auto" mode. If it's set too high, the fan will shut off because it thinks there's no demand for cooling.
Press the auto button (1st press any button to wake the remote) in the center of the remote while pointing it at the fan bezel/garnish. When it opens check the set point, and use the + - buttons to adjust the set point. Lower it below what the "room temp" number shows.

I believe it's what Winterbagoal said ... I had mine doing the same thing 4 years ago and it took me a bit to figure it out.
