Need New Tires

Bought a 2003 Dynamax Carri-Go Class B ride couple weeks ago. Want to purchase new tires and wondering what type you seasoned RVers would recommend. If it matters, it's a 24' with GVWR 14,050 and GCWR of 20,000 on a Ford Chassis and E450 6.8 V10 engine.

My only requirement is I want American Made.

Thanks,

Patsy

You'll need to look at the Federally required sticker to the driver's left or in the door jam to get size and load range requirements of your vehicle. Once you have that information, you can search for tires made in U.S.A. in that size. Many manufacturers have tire models or sizes made in the U.S.A. while other sizes are made overseas. I don't think it makes any difference in quality, but if you wish to buy American for patriotic reasons that's fine too.

I just put 6 Bridgestone Duravis M700 tires on my E 450. $200 each. Tire guy said any Bridgestone is a good tire.

Let me know what kind of tires you get. My girlfriend has a 2002 Dynamax Carri-Go. Some people call it a Class B+ and some call it a C. No matter what it is, we love camping in it! Enjoy,

Great to hear from another Carri-Go RVer!!! Maybe we could touch base and compare things.
