Small Screen Rooms ?
Has anyone used or found anything that's small enough to carry in a Class B ? I'm thinking of having something made that could clip to my awning. On our trip to Alaska last summer we wanted to sit outside and enjoy the weather, eat dinner etc without getting mosquito bites. My biggest problem is storage, I'm just about at 100% maxed out.

We found that a good table "FAN" can be used to blow away the mosquitos, Do you have room for a fan? However, a screen room would be good in the rain, so look for a Coleman, easy set-up, screen room.. Bag is about 10'' square, a 4 ft. long. Have room for that ???

We have a small class B (see profile picture) and find that a 10'x10' E-Z-Up with the optional screen walls fits handily in the walkway that runs down the middle of the bus. It's a little long, but it's so small that it doesn't cause space or movement issues and we can get it in and out without much effort. An additional bonus is that we can set it up right up against the side and go back and forth without letting bugs into either the room or the camper.
I like that I can set it up myself since the wife does not like helping with that particular task (taking down either, which can also be easily done by one person.) Ours has withstood some pretty strong winds without any damage, and the top keeps the rain out even in a strong downpour. They are sturdier than you might think

I don't have room for a EZ-UP and the sides. A fan in Alaska would of got carried away with the amount and size of their Mosquitos ! I really only have room for maybe some screen sides that I could fold up. I seen a 6x6 pop-up screen room but it had way too many bad quality reviews. I'm probably going to have to fashion something using my crank out awning. Thanks to the help tho !

Could you purchase bulk screen material and fashion some Velcro attachments? Many other sizes available; here is a sample.

Then, I recommend this material. Those no-see-ums pack a big bite. Happy camping. http://www.campmor.com/72-tight-weav...gpa=pla&ci_kw=

Thanks for both recommendations on that material. I think that might work out. We traveled 11,500 miles to Alaska last summer and at the end of the day we wanted to sit outside, get out of the Motorhome, enjoy the views and weather. We cooked a lot of meals in our little Dutch oven outside or BBQ grill too. Most times you might only be out there a hour or so. Not everywhere we stopped but lots had Mosquitos, it would be nice to not battle or worry about them. Even when you use different sprays they stay off of you but hover 6" all around you which is annoying. We have another big trip planned leaving So Cal end of July to Maine and down the East Coast.....unsure about their bugs

In Florida, no-see-ums on the beach (a sea breeze helps), mosquitoes in the swamp (and gators), and in May and September love bugs on the roads. Enjoy your trip, sounds great!

I'm going to make it down as far as South Carolina and leave my Motorhome at a relatives house in South Carolina till mid November , fly back to So Cal till late January then fly back and continue down the coast to Key West. Plans are to be in Daytona for the 500 and Disney World too.
