Solar panels on a Road Trek?

Is it possible to put solar panels on the roof and make it look good, and is it practical?

AM Solar has recently made available their GS100 panels in a polyester sandwich instead of a frame which allows them to be taped down flat. Looks good (as in you can't see them) and is practical for some applications. Should be able to get a few of them on top of a RoadTrek.

Define practical. What do you expect the solar panel to do?

It's going to be a function of how many batteries, how many panels, and your inverter setup.

I added a second battery and a solar panel on the roof of my Pleasure Way. We dry camp as much as possible so the added battery gives me more storage and the solar helps too !
