Tire Rotation??
Hi,
just finishing off my first year with my RV and did about 6,000 miles. It's currently in storage until next spring.
When it comes out of storage, I'll do the oil & filter change but was wondering what your thoughts are on rotating the tires. Is it recommended or better to keep them as is? Rear tires are normally 80 psi & front 60 psi ... does the pressure difference become a factor in the longevity of the tires?
Thanks,
Steve

I rotated my tires just to even out the wear . I don't think having different previous pressures are a concern . My Avatar shows my Class A Bounder but I also own a Pleasure Way Excel TS Class B

No rotation unless tire wear pattern indicates.

The only time I rotate my tires is when I'm driving down the road......

I rotate fronts with fronts only, and about every 7500 miles. Rears usually ware pretty evenly. If rears start showing uneven ware I would rotate and look for the cause.

You can rotate if you see signs of wear. However, most folks don't!

The front and rear tires are typically on different rims on a dual rear wheel unit. So in order to rotate them, you will need to dismount and remount the tires from the rims. Usually you do not need to rotate on dual rear wheel units unless you are getting abnormal tire wear. If you are seeing abnormal tire wear, you need to get the alignment and balance checked.
Some claim the large RV tires do not need balancing. If it rotates, it needs to be balanced.
